My husband, (like many others) is not into taking pictures, but like many other wives, I force him to. (lol)
I had to for this moment. It was our first pregnancy and I couldn't pass on the opportunity to document it in this manner. Although I wasn't very excited about the whole process (outfit and props shopping, makeup and hair, the actual shoot), I had to soldier on, lest I regret not doing it.
Ok, I'll let the pictures do the talking now.....

One of my favourite shots of the day.

Tummy was too big at this point and walking around wasn't one of my favourite things to do at this point. (see why I was dreading the preparation for the shoot, imagine walking around malls with this tummy, wheeeew)

I got this cute dress from the Oriental City Bruma (after an hour or so of searching and almost giving up, sigh)

My sisi did my wig for me, and I did my own make up (which took close to an hour, another sigh)

This dress gave me life I tell you.

Well, there's more but I'll leave it here.

A special shout out to my amazing photographer Marcus Neo Lerutla. His service was great, he goes to the extreme to get the best shots and he's easy going wrt to directing the poses etc.
Soon I'll do a post on "My Wedding Day in Pictures), I promise.
Leave a comment and let me know how your maternity photo-shoot was and share any tips for new mommies out there.
